Two channels: one mic input and one instrument input. An entry-level interface for anyone who really can't spend much; its sibling, the UMC202HD, is also worth a look. On Windows the UMC22 ends up relying on the generic ASIO4ALL driver, which I don't really recommend; on a Mac you won't have that problem, since it doesn't need a driver.
