Who it's for:
For anyone who wants to record vocals and an instrument at the same time with a compact, solid interface that has a good dedicated driver.
What stands out:
It has its own driver with a buffer adjustable down to 4 samples on Windows, which gives you very low latency and stability without depending on generic drivers like ASIO4ALL.
Both inputs are combo jacks that take a mic or an instrument, so you can record both sources at once. The metal chassis is tough and heavy enough that it doesn't slide around the desk when you plug in cables.
Separate volume controls for headphones and monitors, loopback, and OBS support for streaming and podcasts. It comes with Cubase LE and IK Multimedia's SampleTank SE with 30GB of samples.
What's missing:
Only two channels. It sits right in the middle of the category on value: there are cheaper options and more complete ones, depending on what you need.
Bottom line:
An honest interface with solid build quality and a good dedicated driver. It does what it promises if you record two sources.
